QUEENDA PRESS is a publishing and cultural brand of Queenda International LLC. Based in the United States and serving Chinese communities worldwide, we publish books that explore lived experience, ideas, culture, art, and education.
From a true life story to a question explored over many years, from the study of cultural traditions to contemporary art, we help authors bring their experiences, insights, and work to readers through thoughtful editing and publishing.
We believe publishing helps personal experiences reach a wider audience and gives independent perspectives room for thoughtful discussion. Together with authors and readers, we hope to broaden our understanding of ourselves and the societies we live in through reading and conversation.
These are our current areas of interest. We also welcome projects that bring these themes together in new ways.

Philosophy
Openness
Meet the world with curiosity and an open mind. Respect different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. Value our own culture while remaining willing to reconsider what we know, learn something new, and understand other ways of life.
Dialogue
Speak thoughtfully and listen closely. Bring people across places, generations, and cultures into conversation. Through reasoned discussion, we can deepen our understanding and learn from one another, even when we disagree.
Engagement
Reflect on who we are while learning about the society around us. Through learning and participation, build connections and contribute to the communities we share.
Growth
Turn lived experience into insights we can share. Deepen understanding through conversation and refine our judgment through practice, allowing reading and reflection to guide better choices.
04 / IDEAS INTO LIFE
Bringing Ideas into Everyday Life
We draw inspiration from the spirit of independent thought, education, and open exchange championed by China’s New Culture Movement. We hope to carry that spirit of inquiry into the books we choose, publish, and discuss today.
Chinese communities around the world have diverse experiences, yet face some shared questions: How do we connect across cultures? How do we help the next generation understand their heritage? How do we participate in local life and form our own judgments in a changing world?
Through publishing, we hope to give people a place to tell their stories, share their thinking, and help readers see familiar questions from a fresh perspective. A book may not offer every answer, but it can begin a thoughtful conversation.
Ideas inspire action. Experience deepens ideas.
This is what gives publishing its meaning for us, and what we will continue working toward.
We welcome publishing proposals from authors with complete or partial manuscripts, research, or artwork. We work with each author to agree on the services their project needs. Our current model is primarily author-funded publishing: authors cover production and distribution costs, and we provide a written quote after reviewing the work. Services begin once both parties agree on the scope, fees, and schedule and sign a written publishing services agreement. We charge no fees before providing a quote. Authors retain copyright in their work.
